LAURENE CHERNIAK the producer, artist and writer of this series of Magazine Comic-Books has a long history in the publishing world both on the creative and the publisher side. His centerfolds and Feature Stories in Hain High Times magazine were the first in removing the shroud of darkness regarding the phsychoacitve uses of Hashish and Marijuana. His 3 part centerfold series entitled Marijuana Around the World which was the featured cover story and accompanying photo, to this date is by far and away the highest selling issue of HIGH TIMES magazine with over 435,000 copies sold. Currently, in 2002, HIGH TIMES sells about about half that amount.
